ongoing challenges in education funding… it is time to speak up

Why are we seeing consecutive years of significant cuts to education?  Will we recover?  Can we recover?  What do these ongoing cuts mean to St. Vrain?  Most importantly, what can we do about it?

Grassroots St Vrain is hosting a presentation and update on education funding in Colorado on May 9th.  You will learn about Colorado’s fiscal structure, how education funding is impacted by this structure, how education funding cuts affect our community and receive information about a proposed ballot initiative for November 2011.

At this meeting you will be able to TAKE ACTION with the hope that we can move toward slowing these continual cuts.
