Now the nation recognizes what we, in the St. Vrain community, already know: Superintendent Don Haddad is a visionary leader and has made an enormous difference to our school district. This distinction is awarded based on the criteria of outstanding achievement, demonstrated belief in continuous improvement, and commitment to collaboration.
As quoted in the Times-Call, Dr. Haddad says “It’s a great team that we have,” listing community groups — such as Grassroots St. Vrain and Leadership St. Vrain, the Longmont Economic Development Council and the Chamber of Commerce –businesses like IBM and Xilinx, as well as the Board of Education, his cabinet and the district’s teachers.
“I’m most proud of how our entire community has rallied around education,” Haddad continued, noting the voters’ approvals of two mill levy overrides in the past five years.
We congratulate Dr. Haddad on this prestigious honor.
