Four SVVSD Board of Education Seats Up for Election this Fall

There are seven school board members representing the St. Vrain Valley School District, and this November there will be elections for four of those seats.   Dori Van Lone, of District D (Erie High School feeder area) and Rod Schmidt, who represents District F (Skyline/Mead High School areas) are retiring their seats due to term limits.

Joie Seigrist is running for election to keep her seat in District A.  Joie is currently an appointed BOE member completing the term vacated by Rick Hammans.  And Debbie Lammers is running for re-election in District B.

At this time only two people have announced their intention to run for the open positions in District D and F.  LSV graduate, John Ahrens, will be seeking election for the District D board seat and GSV board member / LSV graduate, Paula Peairs, will be seeking election for the District F school board seat.  Although school board members represent a certain area of the district, all residents of the school district vote for all board members.
